A:Its depends on the Material,29 ga. Galvalume(silver) is,Painted isn,t.As shingles get Higher and higher in pricing(because of oil prices) most roofers and homeowners will switch to a metal product.We can offer a Galvalume on a straight gable roof cheaper than Architect shingles.

Can you Install a roof when its cold outside?
A: Shingles are not supposed to be installed below 40 degrees but if its 32 degrees and sunny out side ,it's 40 on the roof .With a little time management and heat and the shingles we can roof in the cold .
